Hey Naturalistas!!!!

I know I know, it's been such a long time, so please forgive me once again. Also, I am always posting on my YouTube Channel so you can find me there as well!   I can't believe we are already 16 days into the new year. I hope everyone is staying determined on conquering their God given purpose as we walk into this new year. A lot has happened with me since January 9th.

In December, I decided to get a mammogram since my insurance covers it under 40. The earlier the better right.  On January 9th, I get a call that they need to take more pictures as well as an ultrasound. Receiving a call like that is always  fearful, but I remained calm and continued to remain faithful and positive. That evening when it was time to pick up the kids from the bus stop, my son got off the bus frantically. He told me that Nadia was not on the bus and he couldn't find her.  As a mom, that's another thing you do not want to hear. We went to the school, and that's when I broke down as I saw them look for my daughter. Well, they did find her and she was still on the bus. She fell asleep on the bus, so that was a learning experience for all of us. Once we got home, I realized that I was under attack and I had to get serious about this.

I've always wanted a time where I could just lay before the Lord and worship. As soon as I got home, God showed me the time. I was able to worship and study for almost an hour. It felt so good! He also showed me 2 scriptures to stand on, Psalms 91 and Psalms 103 versus 1-8. I continued to read those scriptures daily. On 14 January, during church service, my Pastor decided to read a scripture which so happen to be the very same scripture I have been reading which is Psalms 103. It was so amazing to hear. I knew God was reminding me of his faithfulness.

That night, all of sudden I felt like I was having an anxiety attack. I have never felt like this before. I experienced a burning sensation in my chest as well as my stomach.  I continued to fight through it and read my scriptures. I felt so lost and confused, but tried to remain faithful. 15 January, was the day of the appointment, and I still felt like I was attacked with anxiety. I had to tell myself no matter what I trust you Lord and your will be done. After several mammograms and ultrasounds, my report came back cancer free.  I thanked God, but if it was the other way around, I have to continue trust God and depend on him no matter the situation.

I said all that to say without this experience, I wouldn't have known about the designated time that I get to spend with him, my faith was renewed, and not to worry about the little things. Life is short and we must enjoy today.  Continue to listen to the Holy Spirit through each trialling moment and trust the Lord. He is with you always.

Psalms 103 verse 1-8
Let all that I am praise the Lord;
    with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord;
    may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
    and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
    and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.
    My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
The Lord gives righteousness
    and justice to all who are treated unfairly.
He revealed his character to Moses
    and his deeds to the people of Israel.
The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
    slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
